    Clarke DipperThe ABC Dipper With Telescoping Handle is a white plastic 5” diameter, 2” deep mosquito larvae dipper. It has pour spouts for controlled pouring and graduated measurements (1.5 cups, 350ml).The white color provides contrast for distinguishing and counting larvae. A rigid aluminum telescoping handle with vinyl grip extends from 19” to 62” and is removable from the dipper.

    1. (24) 250ml polypropylene jars with lids
    2. a concentrator lid for removing excess water
    3. a permanent marker pen for writing on the lids (wipes clean with alcohol)

    Two types of jars are availible: translucent polypropylene or translucent polystyrene. Polypropylene is more impact resistant.

  • Sieve Set

    Sieve SetThis is a set of three nesting plastic bowls, each 6.75” diameter and 2.5” deep, with a lid. One bowl has a solid bottom, one has a coarse screen bottom (openings approx. 3.8 mm. square) and the other has a fine screen bottom (will stop 1st instars). The coarse screen sieve is useful for separating debris from larvae, and the fine screen is useful for concentrating larvae, I.e., removing excess water.

  • Wash Bottle

    Wash Bottle A traditional laboratory item, WASH1 is a 500 ml polyethylene bottle with a screw cap and nozzle. It will deliver a fine stream or a single drop, and the nozzle may be cut back to increase the flow.
