DataMaster II Release 3.1.0 provides additional improvements and features

DataMaster II release 3.1.0 delivers new features and improvements to provide greater ease of use and improved information in the leading ULV data capture technology.

DataMaster II now utilizes MapPoint 2010 to provide users with updated streets and an improved user map interface, including zoom, pan, and waypoint markers. MapPoint 2010 assures you of the most current mapping along with choice of views and easy to read graphics. In addition to target rate, application rate and flow rate information displayed in the trail waypoint bubbles, additional indicators now display the status of the spray switch (const, var, or off).

Accuracy and time saving are also increased, as release 3.1.0 adds the ability to pre-populate the driver, route and vehicle information fields. So, you can uniformly program information into your system. Then when actual missions are run, operators simply choose from drop down selections – eliminating inaccurate, inconsistent data.

Target rates now populate when consecutive trails are run, eliminating the need to exit the mobile application between trails.Target, Application and Flow Rate precision have been adjusted to display values less than 1.

Release 3.1.0 also makes DataMaster II compatible with MS 7 PRO, MS Vista along with Windows XP and Windows 2003.

For more information or to purchase DataMaster II 3.1.0 upgrade, call 800-859-2847.

What Experts Say About Adulticiding

Is Adulticiding Necessary?

“Adulticiding based on surveillance data is an extremely important part of any integrated mosquito management program…Delaying adulticide applications in areas with [West Nile Virus-positive mosquitoes and birds] until human cases occur negates the value and purpose of the surveillance system. Ground-based (truck-mounted) application of adult mosquito control agents has several positive attributes. Where road access is adequate…good coverage may be achieved.”
