Allen Gent

Chief Operating Officer

Allen Gent joined Clarke in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer. He leads Clarke's global business strategy and operations for all domestic and international activities. Before joining Clarke, Allen spent 10 years with BASF in a variety of leadership roles, most recently leading the company’s U.S. Seed and Trait business. Over the course of his 20-plus-year career in agribusiness, Allen has served in roles with Bayer CropScience (seed assets acquired by BASF), DuPont Pioneer and Monsanto.

Allen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from the University of Missouri, and earned his MBA from Webster University.

Allen and his wife Judy have 5 children as well as 3 grandchildren.  He enjoys spending time with his family, walking, biking, playing pickleball, traveling, and working in the yard.  Allen and Judy share a love for food and discovering great restaurants everywhere they visit.
