Denise leads the company’s People & Culture strategy, aligning talent, culture, and organizational effectiveness with Clarke’s business goals, mission, vision, values, and Clarke’s guiding principles. As a trusted advisor to executive leadership, she helps shape a workplace where people can thrive, leaders are equipped to succeed, and business priorities are supported through thoughtful, people-centered practices. Her leadership spans talent strategy, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, culture and engagement, total rewards, compliance, and employee experience.
She brings more than 20 years of experience in global HR leadership across the ag chem, public health, biotech, and sustainable energy industries. She is known for shaping high-performing, human-centered organizations through talent strategy, culture design, and leadership development. Denise has held HR leadership positions at Bayer, BASF, Hitachi Energy and Revvity.
Denise has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and holds a Professional Human Resources certification as well as licenses for Coaching and PsychoGeometrics.
She and her husband Barry have one son and a dog. Denise is a North Carolina native who enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking, cheering on her favorite sports teams and unwinding with a little reality tv.
