Giving is a deeply rooted characteristic of Clarke coworkers. It's not just lip-service or tokenism. It's real. We really do make the extra effort to help communities around the world. Here are some of the ways we do that.
We are proud of our One for Tomorrow™ program that takes 1% of revenues from our NextGen products to support organizations that are striving to restore and protect the environment. Clarke coworkers nominate qualified non-profits in the communities where we work, and select grant recipients each year. Clarke's NextGen products and services include Natular® larvicides, Merus® adulticide, EarthRight® community mosquito control services, Conserve® precision aquatic application service, ProMist® Dura ULV applicator and AllTrace® cattle supplements.
In 2008, Clarke established the Clarke Cares Foundation to provide relief from mosquito-borne disease in communities of need around the world. And in 2010, the Foundation forged a partnership with The Carter Center, through which we have donated over 218,000 bed nets to date, heping combat malaria and lymphatic filariasis victims in Africa.
Clarke coworkers are active members of their communities, volunteering OVER 4,000 service hours last year. It’s just part of our culture to go that extra mile for our neighbors.
In 2018, Clarke initiated its Partner in Caring award program to honor strategic business partners who have gone above and beyond to touch the lives of people in a way that increases appreciation, respect and care of the earth and the life it supports.
Customer support and community education is critical to effective public health programs. Each year, we sponsor local workshops, training seminars and other community relations efforts to arm our customers with the information they need to engage and educate their constituents.
