Since 2015, Clarke’s One For Tomorrow™ grant program has allocated 1% of revenue from the company's Next Gen product and services to non-profit environmental organizations who share our values and passion for the planet and community. NextGen products and services include Natular® larvicides, Merus® adulticide, EarthRight® community mosquito control services, Conserve® precision aquatic application service, ProMist® Dura ULV applicator and AllTrace® cattle supplements.
It is our distinct honor to recognize these seven organizations as the 2018 grant recipients:
Burrumbuttock Hay Runners
Burrumbuttock Hay Runners is a 100% volunteer effort that trucks donated hay and other critical supplies to drought-affected farmers in Australia, delivering temporary relief to sustain their businesses and livestock.
Fossil Rim Wildlife Center
Fossil Rim Wildlife Center is dedicated to the conservation of species in peril, conducting scientific research, training of professionals, responsible management of natural resources and public education.
Operation Blessing Honduras is piloting a program in San Pedro Sula to study the natural mosquito population, educate the community on mosquito prevention and introduce biological mosquito control methods to eradicate Zika carrying mosquitoes in the region.
Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park
Designed to protect and sustain the native flora and fauna of the Cayman Islands, the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park is home to a captive breeding and release program that has saved the local Blue Iguana species from extinction, and plays an instrumental role in educating the local and tourist population on ecological issues impacting the island.
Virginia Nature Conservancy
Since 2014, the Virginia Nature Conservancy and its partners have been building the largest oyster reef restoration in the world, with the goal of completing 300 acres in the Chesapeake Bay to help revitalize the bay, the oyster industry and the culture and livelihood of millions.
Wild Sheep Foundation
Based in Bozeman, Montana, The Wild Sheep Foundation (WSF) is dedicated to restoring wild sheep populations that dwindled to historical lows in North America in the 1950s and ‘60s.
Young at Heart Pet Rescue
Young At Heart provides rescue and rehoming services for older dogs and cats in the Chicagoland area, giving senior pets a second chance at a loving home.
