Strike® formulations from Central Life Sciences are designed to break the life cycle of midges and filter flies to prevent future generations from developing into adults at water treatment facilities. All Strike formulations have an environmentally friendly mode of action, using the active ingredient (S)-methoprene, that can be added into water without interrupting the water treatment process.
Strike products are ideal for facilities experiencing chironomid midges in various stages and areas of the wastewater treatment process. Each Strike® larvicide formulation contains (S)-methoprene, an insect growth regulator (IGR) that stops midges, filter flies and mosquitoes from becoming breeding, biting adults.
Clarke is an authorized distributor of Strike formulations for public health use.
The Strike portfolio of midge and filter fly products includes three different formulation types:

While mosquito-borne diseases threaten human health worldwide, implementing an integrated mosquito management (IMM) system can go a long way toward mitigating those risks. Within the IMM network, the surveillance lever acts explicitly as a predecessor to larval or adult control…

Each method of lake mapping – vegetation, bathymetric, and sedimentation/hardness mapping – provides unique insight into assessing areas of your waterbody that would have otherwise gone unnoticed, let alone enough understanding to properly plan and budget for.
Let’s talk about what a more sustainable aquatic or mosquito control program looks like for you.
