11 A/B Microbial Disruptor
Bsph, Bti, Bti + Bsph
FourStar microbial larvicide kills mosquito larvae before they become adults by using the naturally occurring bacteria Bacillus sphaericus (Bsph) and Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti). These active ingredients are inherent in soil and contain protein crystals that when ingested rupture the gut wall of the larvae causing larval death.
To enhance performance, FourStar larvicides contain Central Life Sciences’ patented “Dual Action” release technology. This innovative technology regulates the release of active ingredients to the water surface as well as throughout the water column to ensure a long residual and maximum coverage.
All FourStar formulations are distributed exclusively by Clarke for public health mosquito control use.
The FourStar portfolio of larvicides includes several different formulation types designed for different habitats and control periods.
Our fundamental job is to discover and design the most effective mosquito control products of the future, and ensure the performance we can achieve in the lab translates to real-world operational excellence for customers.

While mosquito-borne diseases threaten human health worldwide, implementing an integrated mosquito management (IMM) system can go a long way toward mitigating those risks. Within the IMM network, the surveillance lever acts explicitly as a predecessor to larval or adult control…
Clarke\’s latest case study reveals data on the environmental impact of implementing over 200 adult mosquito traps and Biogent’s BG Counters.
Each method of lake mapping – vegetation, bathymetric, and sedimentation/hardness mapping – provides unique insight into assessing areas of your waterbody that would have otherwise gone unnoticed, let alone enough understanding to properly plan and budget for.
Let’s talk about what a more sustainable aquatic or mosquito control program looks like for you.
