Larvicide products are stealth mosquito control tools. They work proactively, behind the scenes, to prevent mosquito larvae from ever becoming flying, biting adults. Larvicides are designed to suppress mosquito populations by treating the aquatic habitats where mosquito larvae breed.
They can be applied in several different ways, including by air, drone, backpack, hand or even through air blast equipment.
Larvicide products come in a wide range of formulation types, including liquids, granules, tablets, water-soluble pouches and others.
Each product is also designed to deliver a different length of larval control – ranging from just a day or two, all the way up to 180 days or more.
