What is an Adulticide?

Adulticide products target mosquitoes in the adult, flying and biting stage, of the mosquito life cycle. They are developed as liquid formulations, most commonly applied through truck-mounted or aircraft-mounted ultra-low volume (ULV) spray nozzles.

Adulticide applications control active mosquitoes at the time of application only, so treatments are typically timed to coincide with peak activity times for mosquito populations – dusk or dawn.
